PONANT are offering a rare opportunity to be in the thick of the action for the start of the 75th Anniversary of the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race. They will be positioned at the iconic Sydney Headlands for the official start of the race. They will then begin their Luxury Small Ship cruise South to Hobart aboard our newest EXPLORER ship Le Lapérouse.
Along their journey they will visit the white sand beaches of Trousers Point on Flinders Island where they can swim in crystal-clear waters. They will also come ashore at the world-renowned Wineglass Bay where they will have the opportunity to explore the beach or take a walk to the lookout for views across the region. Arriving in Hobart, you will then join the festivities surrounding the official race presentation, before preparing to welcome in the New Year.
